The views are beautiful, the staff are amazingly kind and helpful, breakfast was a good variety of continental style and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. All my “must haves” checked.
The rooms are quaint and not fancy. They are very clean and all your basic needs are covered. Just not fancy and our bathroom was very small. It had a beautiful patio with gardens but the furniture on the patio isn’t very comfortable.
It’s close to the Positano local bus stop and good variety of restaurants (by close I mean 131 steps) and shops.
The walk down to the beach/city center is pretty easy. For the walk up I’d suggest the bus. You can pay $10 per bag for someone to take your bags to or from the room. I highly recommend this!
Just be prepared for steps. A LOT OF STEPS. Positano is on a steep hillside and everything you do requires steps.
