"I loved the warm hospitality, the staff made you feel like you were at home. They treated us with kindness and offered us a ride to and from our villa to the vineyard ( we didn’t bring transportation)… we thought the rain would pass and decided to walk back after our wine tour.. but after a few mins of walking and downpour, we were offered a ride back still. "Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."

"Siamo stati con tutta la famiglia in questo agriturismo poco distante da San Gimignano. L alloggio dove abbiamo soggiornato per 2 notti è in ottime condizioni, ben tenuto, pulito e ben riscaldato. Alla cucina non manca veramente nulla di quello che può servire. Utile anche lo spazio esterno con tavolino anche se quando siamo andati noi il tempo non è stato buono. In compenso una sera abbiamo utilizzato il barbecue a disposizione di chi alloggia. Personale disponibile e gentile. Unica pecca ma...

"The property was beautiful and overall we enjoyed our stay! The pool and the available excursions made it very enjoyable. Our only criticism is that we we’re originally told the restaurant would be open the first night we were there and it wasn’t. Instead we got a “pizza party” this was fine except the cost was not presented to us prior. The pool was also closed early due to a wedding. It would have been nice to know this prior to our stay because it lead to a bit of disappointment. It would...
