"Gorgeous property in a quieter section of Carmel with easy access to Carmel Valley, Carmel By the Sea, and Monterey. Our family really enjoyed exploring the grounds and playing on the 9 hole putting course. We unknowingly booked our stay during Monterey Car Week, so some of the property amenities (golf, tennis, some restaurants) were not available during our stay. However, Jennifer from the front desk worked her magic to make our stay fantastic despite the surprise. If you stay at the Quail, be sure to check out the nearby Hacienda and Wagon wheel for family fun and a great breakfast, respectively. "

"Great location, walk to beach or everywhere in town and more! Bed was very comfortable, hotel is old but spacious and parking can be a challenge, they have a parking lot but not enough spots for all guests so a couple of nights we were on the street but it worked out😎"

"The staff went above and beyond. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful We enjoyed the breakfast buffet very much. It is not your typical pastry, coffee and cold cereal. Something for everyone and if you have any dietary restrictions let them know and they will accommodate your needs. I don’t eat gluten myself and they went out of their way to bake some gf berry muffins for me! "

"We traveled with our dog and we loved how each cottage can enjoy your own privacy and the property has plenty of beautiful outdoor space and grounds to walk around our dog. The decor was also nice and the bathroom was updated. The location is very accessible to restaurants and grocery just across the way (though not walkable, it’s an easy less than 5 minute drive.) We got to enjoy the town and the beach all within less than 10 minutes drive from the inn. "
