"Our stay at The Caribbean Paradise lodge was very pleasant, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The grounds are very clean , lots of wildlife you can hear and see. It is 10 minutes away from Tortuguero village by taxi boat, but the staff is always ready to help with that. There is no AC but the fan in the room was sufficient and we had comfortable nights and slept well enjoying the sounds of nature . "This is a beautiful ecolodge and very well managed by Pedro and his staff. Pedro goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Their food options are very creative and excellent especially since we were vegetarians. The place is remote and provides a true jungle experience while still having the basic amenities to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. They have well organized guided walks both at night and during the day, several of them covered within the reservation. "

"Hidden gem for sure. House was beautiful and the property was stunning! We watched monkeys while drinking our morning coffee and there’s a beautiful cook shack to cook over the open fire. We also saw iguanas, squirrels and beautiful birds while walking around the property, looking at the waterfalls and river. Inside the house was just as beautiful. Rainfall shower head, beautiful wooden table and nice clean everything!!! "

"Es handelt sich um ein riesieges Holzgebäude,das jemand vor mehreren Jahren mit viel Liebe gebaut hat. Es liegt abseits der Straße auf einem Mischgelände aus Kuhwiesen u. Restwald. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, rustikal und nach aussen offen, so dass man abends- wenn man nicht von Moskitos zerfressen werden will- kein Licht benutzen sollte.
