"Very friendly staff, nice pool. Food at the restaurant was really good too."

"Breakfast was pretty lame. Netflix didn't work. Jacuzzi took an hour to fill up amd luke warm. Room had musty smell. The staff was very nice, but the place itself is very basic. Also no coffee maker or tea. it's pretty I'm not home as I'm a big"

"great birding and excellent food"

"El lugar no ofrece una experiencia agradable. 1. Fui con mi perro y me indicaron que ya no aceptaban mascotas. Cuando les mostré que en la reserva incluía al perro por estar permitido, intentaron cobrarme el doble. 2. Adujeron un problema de Expedia para indicarme que debía pagar $20 adicionales por noche. De igual forma dije que ya estaba paga mi reserva de conformidad con los términos que ellos establecieron. 3. Llegamos a desayunar 5 minutos antes de la hora de cierre de la cocina y solo nos...

"Ok for 1 night on way to Caribbean side."

"Tienes que tener cuidado, encontramos chinchas en la almohada y lo reportamos y nos cambiaron de habitación, el desayuno es a la carta, no puedes comer otra cosa según el plato"

"We were in room 29, it was spacious and even with screen windows it wasn’t too noisy from people nearby. The hammock on the porch was nice, and we got to see toucans in the tree by our front door. We also saw a huge iguana on the lawn, and a sweet orange cat. The bathroom was also large and clean. The shower did not have a handheld but it was a rain shower and had hot water pretty quickly. The strange wooden rack in the bathroom proved very useful to lay out clothes to try and get them to dry....

"The place where it is located is cool because you feel in the jungle but the maintenance of the rooms is poor, there a clean enough but they are humid and need a bit of redoing, specially for what I was charged money wise. Good enough breakfast."

"Property is surrounded by gardens who look pretty much as forest, you can walk by trails, or you can have access to real forest outside, but at the same time great location, 600 m from main road, little town and 8 minute driving to main Town Puerto Viejo. I have to start with EV Charger, great thing for the area. Rooms are little updated but clean, and fair size, they have couches and a balcony that really upgrade the room, cold AC, Tv, good internet, you will rest in that bed. Restaurant...

"9/10!! Great staff. Good breakfast. Amazing views from the deck. Conveniently located downtown Tortuguero. The tour guide, Luis, we had was great. I highly recommend Casa Marbella, and their tours!"

"Very special hotel in the middle of the jungle. Clean, beautiful and amazing staff working there. We had the best time ever"

"Every member of the staff was amazing. Everyone was welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to make my stay the best I could possibly be. The food was delicious. the tours were personal and led by very knowledgeable guides. If you don’t have time to do all of the activities, and if you’re there for nature, I recommend skipping the jungle hike to the top of mountain. It’s no more than a walk up a bunch of steps to a lookout point."

"I have never received better customer service than at Miss Junie’s. Nory and her staff are attentive and committed to hospitality. The rooms are very clean. The building and grounds are beautiful and old, worn by time, but with character. The afternoon ocean breeze is cooling and the beach is shaded in the late afternoon. There are old trees on the grounds where iguanas live and macaws visit. The property is also adjacent to the town and the river, and a short walk from the turtle...

"We had 4 HUGE roaches in our room when we arrived! My husband had to kill them; just so we could sleep & feel comfortable-still was hard bc we were wondering if more would come out at night & crawl all over us while sleeping! Next night we had a lizard on our pillows before bedtime. Plus; safety wise we had No glass on the windows had to sleep with only screens on windows! Only a ceiling fan; as they don’t offer air conditioning. The walking trail on the property is really run down & full of...
