"cute and cozy property, two buildings with a nice open patio in between. super clean, well maintained, six of us fit perfectly between the two buildings and hung out in the front room with TV for dinner and movies. amazing location, steps away from the colonnade, river walk, beach, pizza my heart! pet friendly, our shorkie loved it. kitchen well stocked with utensils plates etc and stove fridge. great spot, would def rent again when staying in the area"

"I booked this hotel specifically because the website advertised it as pet friendly — that was the deciding factor. What I didn’t see anywhere in the listing was any mention of a $100 pet fee for a single night. That’s a significant charge that deserves to be upfront, not buried or absent entirely. I travel with my emotional support animal, and in my experience, most accommodations either waive the pet fee for ESAs or at least have a clear, transparent policy. When I checked in and was told about the charge, I was caught completely off guard. When I explained that my animal is a registered ESA, the front desk staff were polite but firm — no exceptions. The room itself was fine, and the property is clean. But the lack of transparency around fees and the blanket policy that ignores the distinction between pets and emotional support animals left a bad taste. If you’re going to market yourself as pet friendly, at minimum be upfront about the costs. A $100 fee for one night is steep, and finding out at check-in is a frustrating way to start a stay. Travelers with ESAs, take note — call ahead and confirm the fee policy before booking, because “pet friendly” here doesn’t mean what you might expect."

"Wonderful upstairs condo overlooking Capitola street shops and just a couple tiny blocks from the water! Everything at your fingertips and a designated parking spot made this stay perfect! The O’Neal management team was fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Easy on site parking, fantastic location fantastic ocean views from the room. 50 steps to the beach, beach chairs umbrella towels etc provided. Great location for either a relaxed holiday or a busy one enjoying the local restaurants/ bars. Property is clean and well maintained. Could not ask for more. Quieter beaches only a 10 minute drive if wanted. Location has it all"

"We had the best weekend in this cozy little cottage. It's an end unit and a GREAT location... Lots of room outside to set up chairs and watch the sunset. It has all the amenities you could want. Booking was easy and communication was outstanding. Can't wait to go back! "

"Over all place was great.. only complaint I have is water pressure and heat for shower is horrible and parking is really really tight.. but other than that it was great… hope they fix at least the shower situation .. it makes a better stay for people who like to shower… lol "

"The check in was simple and my code worked perfectly every time. It was clean and cutely decorated. It was close the everything. I parked my car one time for all three days and didn't have to use it at all. The owners responded immediately to questions that I had. The beach is literally 10 steps away from the front door and the steps to the wharf weren't much further than that. I would stay here again over and over. "

"The condo is amazing. It's on the main street of Capitola, yet quiet and serene. It's huge, tastefully, beautifully appointed. My wife, my niece, and I could stop marveling at how big and gorgeous it was. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the walk-in showers perfect. Could not possibly be better, or a better value. "
