Temptation Cancun Resort All Inclusive - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"Spent four nights - perfect amount of time. This was our first all inclusive in Mexico and we really had fun. The parties and entertainment were WOW...every night. Top liquor. The food was good, staff was kind and attentive, and rooms were cleaned nicely. One downfall of the resort was the lack of ocean swimming but I have a great tip. Walk out of the resort, cross the street (careful, it's a bit crazy) and grab the bus. One dollar to ride. We took it down to Playa Chac Mool. Lifeguards, no bothersome vendors, safe, waves and beautiful waters. I believe we'll go again!!!"
Sunscape Cancun All-Inclusive Resort & Spa by Hyatt
10/10 Excellent
"My entire stay at Sunscapes was fantastic. The place is clean and well maintained and the food was incredible....a wide assortment of seasoned foods and tasty desserts, well labeled and impeccable clean. However what I enjoyed the most was the staff. From the time we reached the bellboys were so friendly and the concierge was so welcoming, encouraging us to have a meal and drink while our room was being prepared. Special mention to the 2 boys at the coffee shop who were kind enough to assist my mother with her ginger tea each morning, the hostess at the dinner service at Ventanas who befriended us and remembered where we were from, our room number and how many people were in our group. Also the waiters and waitresses there and at Azul in the morning were top-tier. The housekeepers and room attendants were also very attentive, making sure we were always comfortable and the entire staff at the explorer's club were patient and kind with my daughter who enjoyed the various activities like building sand castles, pajama parties, face painting, slime making etc. Finally the bartenders at all the bars were well versed in making delicious cocktails and mocktails and encouraged us to try different ones. I highly recommend this hotel especially if you have kids as it is family friendly and if you do go please have their cappuccino ice-cream....It was sublime....I miss it already."

The Westin Cancun Resort & Spa
8/10 Good
"We booked this resort for our family trip to Cancun and overall had a wonderful stay. The resort was very clean, and we were lucky enough to get an ocean-view room. However the shower tab was broken and the water can't be turned off completedly. There are three restaurants within the resort, which made dining very convenient. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with a great variety of food options. The pool also has a stunning view, and relaxing there with the sea breeze was definitely one of our favorite parts of the stay. Unfortunately, the one major disappointment was the lack of transparency and honesty during check-in. We were told by the staff that we had been given a $200 USD resort credit to use toward our stay and additional spending. We were also told there would be a separate $200 USD security deposit, which would only be charged if there were any damages. However, when we checked out, we noticed that our final bill was higher than what we had actually spent. We contacted the hotel manager to clarify the charges, and she explained that, in Mexico, the credit was equivalent to the credit card deposit and that we had misunderstood the explanation at check-in. Regardless of the terminology or policy, the explanation we received when checking in was very clear to us: $200 in stay credit plus a separate $200 security deposit. If the hotel intended these to be the same amount, this should have been explained clearly from the beginning."
