"Jean Charles was a great host (he lives below the apartment)! The apartment was just as expected, with lots of room for all of us to spread out (living room, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, entry, bathroom, and water closet). With air conditioning. We cooked in two of our five nights as the kitchen and downstairs bbq were well outfitted for our use. "To get to the property we had to phone the hotel so they could raise the impediment in the middle of the road to get in. Once in, we were guided to the property by the front desk thru a series of very narrow roads - which i did not like."

"A lovely hotel in a cosy nook. 14th century walls blend in with modern decor. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the restaurant served the best soup ever. Highly recommended, as long as you don't mind the absence of a lift. "

"Arriving at the property via the small lanes not helped by GPS navigation led to very low expectations. Once inside the gate there was a surprise. The property is an ancient convent with a lovely Chaple. The grounds a wildly planted with many different and interesting ponds, large fountains, and plantings. Worth a stay and visit to ARLES and ST REMY. Just be sure to have good directions to find the Havre de Paix, Excellent breakfast served with fruit, cheese, cut meats, cereal, coffee, juices,...
