I guess the bad reviews are either from an earlier period or people don't understand it's a hostel. I was very glad to see a fan spinning in the room at night as it was very hot. "The owners were more than hospitable. Marie-Laurence treated me as if we'd been best friends. She was warm and charming. Fransico was also pleasant, went around his duties quietly but always with a smile. This couple has created an oasis out of a horse ranch. Some rooms, the pony stalls, therefore are small. Breakfast, not included, beautifully served on my front porch. "

"in front of the beach, nice staff, simple, cozy and clean"
"It was an okay stay overall. I had read the reviews beforehand, so my expectations were already adjusted. That said, I really don’t think this should be rated as a 4-star property—it sets an expectation the experience doesn’t live up to.
The biggest challenge was finding our room. It took two of us, our driver, and even the security guard at the gate to locate it. If we had arrived after dark, it would have been very difficult. Our key was left in a lockbox in an envelope with our name on it. We had been told it was inside the building, but it was actually outside—and there were multiple envelopes, so it’s very much a trust system.
The front desk was closed when we arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon, which was surprising.
On the positive side, the room was clean and well air-conditioned, and the pool area was lovely—quiet and well maintained. However, we did have to put on our own sheets and duvet cover, which again calls the 4-star rating into question.
There’s a great buffet at the hotel next door—good quality and very affordable.
Just a note: the walkway to our room was broken in places and could be problematic for anyone with accessibility needs. There were also many gravel paths throughout the property.
All in all, fine for what it is—but best to know what you’re getting into"
"Our 3 night stay at Arles Plaza was fantastic. The family room was a lovely size for 2 adults. The bed was comfortable, the a/c was quiet and a pleasant temperature. The room was cleaned and tidied everyday and coffee pods replenished. The mini fridge was useful. There were free drinking water fountains dotted around aswell as glass and plastic recyling points.The pool was divine with always enough loungers and space to swim. The reception staff were polite and professional. The atmosphere was calm and tranquil. There were free retro computer games and a pool table. The location was perfect for drives out to the ornithological park and other areas of the Camargue. Also it was 7-10min walk to the old town/amphitheatre in Arles."

"Kader was very welcoming and extremely helpful with advice on restaurants and activities in Arles. After we left a AirPod behind he checked our room and told us he would have laundry staff the laundry the following day. He responded the following day with news he had our AirPod and would be able to ship to our home.
