"Sultania is is in an excellent location in the Old City. Very walkable to nearly everything! Hospitality of the staff was amazing. The accommodations were clean and the bed very comfortable, with good pillows. The hotel appears in need of some updating and maintenance. In the room, several fixtures were loose from the ceiling and bathroom fixtures were in need of updating. Everything could have used some paint."

"I stayed with my family for 1 week from 4/2 to 4/9. I have to say that for the first two days we had a little rough time. My mother was with a wheelchair, and the hotel does not have access to cars, you need to be dropped off at several feet away and walk up a steep hill. Also, there was a construction in the building next to the hotel and they work overnight, which was not announced on their website, so for 2 nights I had a hard time sleeping. "Extremely friendly, helpful and accomodatig staff. The breakfast was spectacular and tasty. We arrived early in the morning and were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary early check in and breakfast! Our room had a lot of space and very interesting decor. The roof top terrace, where we had an amazing breakfast buffet every morning, had a breathtaking view on the sea and a city. I would consider this hotel for our next time in Istanbul. "
