"Lovely hotel and room was lovely and clean and comfortable, yet the hotel itself could do with a good dust as the picture frames on the stairs etc looked quite dusty. 70% of the staff were very friendly and helpful however 30% were a bit robotic, however the service itself was very good. "

"A very pleasant stay in a nice hotel in a beautiful location. In the heart of the New Forest and miles of beautiful walks without needing to use your car to access them. Dining options very good with both the Conservatory and Armada restaurant serving very tasty food. The only issue was very slow service at breakfast - having ordered simple mains we waited over 45 for these to arrive - unacceptable for a simple breakfast service. "All good. Swimming pool and associated facilities such as jacuzzi, sauna, steam room too small if lots of guests are using the pool as was the case on Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning at 0800 was empty so we managed to enjoy the facilities then but Saturday afternoon was literally packed and not a great experience."
