"We have stayed in Bridgton many times in many different houses. This one is closer to the Naples Causeway which we really liked since we love Long Lake. The owners were very quick to respond to the two queries we had. There were in-the window air conditioners which were a God send since we stayed during 96 degree days. However, because there was a gap where each air conditioner attached to the window, there were tons, and I mean, TONS of bugs. No fault of the owner but maybe an extra insert could be placed to keep the bugs from coming in through a 2-3 inch gap. Also, the only other issue we had which we did not tell the owners about was that the pots and pans were dirty. We had to wash each one before use. One was really sticky. Again, not the owner's fault since we did not tell them about this and it was not a huge issue. The beds were super comfortable, especially our bed in the master bedroom. I slept better there than in my own bed at home. We had access to the garage and were able to store our bikes, camping chairs and lake noodles. The dining room really suited our party of 6 and we had great game nights almost every single night. Access to WiFi was excellent, especially for our game design majors who can't seem to go without no matter where they go. The proximity to the lake and dock was so nice to have. I was down there almost every day and evening. My husband and I watched the sunset from the dock. All in all, we had a good time in a very comfortable house. "

"The Bears Den is an amazing lake house! More than amazing! Sindi has everything you need waiting for you! We really enjoyed the fire pit! So nice to have the family all together relaxing. The kids loved the bears that decorated the cabin. So many Bears! We were within an hr of so many places to visit. We went to Storyland, Conway Scenic Railroad, Cog Railroad on Mount Washington, Portland beaches, swam in the Soco river, enjoyed a beautiful scenic drive thru the New Hampshire White Mountains and even the Clarks Bear Show. My daughters and grandchildren are still raving how nice the cabin is. Our hosts made sure that all our needs were met. Check out the town of Brighton. You can find anything at Reny's. Beth's on the main street has the best omlets and oatmeal. Ate there twice. You also have to check out Cool Moose. A tee shirt shop in Brighton, Family owned since 1968. We all loved Bears Den and are planning to make a return trip soon!"

"Pictures do not do any justice compared to actually being there. This inn and grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed every moment while we were here. We were able to walk to Main Street and site see along with walking to the public access for the lake. The views of the mountains are breathtaking and the water was perfect for a warm day. Breakfast with the fresh fruit was a great way to start the day. When we come back to the Bridgton and Waterford area, we will definitely be staying here again."
