"A very good overnight stop before catching 9am ferry as foot passengers to Dublin. Free parking. We intended to take a taxi but were warned about their reliability and availability. We booked the long stay Stena car park at the passenger terminal through Just Park at £19 for 2 and a half days, probably the price of a taxi. Just 7 minute from hotel. Very nice meal in the Bay Restaurant and an excellent included breakfast. Breakfast service starts at 6.45."

"Set in a lovely quiet location but only a short drive away from Porthmadog and other places to visit. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the room, comfortable and perfect for my requirements. A buffet breakfast with a good selection to choose from and dinner in the restaurant came piping hot. Such a delight. I took a short walk within the grounds finding a few hidden gems plus a view of the mountains. "

"This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive. Overall a lovely quiet and peaceful place to stay but close to local attractions and amenities if you want to travel to them ."
