Small town with traditional small friendly shops. Lots of great trails and good food (somewhat expensive but expected given the location). Definitely will recommend for a relaxing vacation

FYI because this is a BAY, there is a constant annoying foghorn that goes off either every 5 seconds with thick fog, or 35 seconds... not real peaceful as expected. :/ but should have done our homework... #cityfolks :)

The Sonoma Coast beaches are a joy to walk, relax, and reset. The Lodge is perfectly situated overlooking Doran Beach and the Bay. The hotel property, with the pool, spa, fire pits, restaurant, and walking paths is wonderful. Great staff !

"Loved the courtyard idea. Wanted first floor due to no elevator. Nice and quiet. Shower head was awful but rest of stay was great. Some spider webs in the windows. Likes that there was specific parking for the hotel."

"It was pretty, the kids love the pool. Except that they let us wait for 1.5 hr to check in, when in fact we are there 4pm on scheduled check in. Other building was stinky not sure maybe it got smoking room. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay"

The prices can get very expensive in Bodega Bay, making it unaffordable to stay for many people. This property however, has kept their prices very reasonable, so more people are able to enjoy this beautiful area. We sincerely appreciate this! We will definitely be staying here again and have already recommended it to others!"
