"Attended the Northfork class of 51 reunion @ Pipestem so the cottage was perfect for the occasion! Beautifully decorated quaint, quiet home with a lovely host just a phone call away. The outdoor kitties were a plus! We highly recommend this property!"

"We had a very comfortable stay at this property. Water was too low for kayaking but the house was very roomy and comfortable. It is as the pictures depicted and the area is extremely quiet. Even though it ended up being only 3 of us staying the house could easily sleep10 as advertised - we stayed there because of a family reunion at my sisters in Blacksburg which took about 40 minutes to get to her house. Would recommend this property to a big group as it can handle it.Thanks for the comfortable...

" It's an absolutely beautiful cabin inside and out, extremely clean and beautifully updated! It's perfect! One of the most peaceful places that I've been to & the hot tub & patio with the chairs by the creek & porch with the gas fireplace was perfect! Didn't get to enjoy the fire pit but will next time because we'll definitely be back!!time"

"The place was amazing and exactly as described. It has everything you would want and more. Fully equipped kitchen, full laundry, high-speed WiFi, TVs everywhere, an awesome covered patio and grill, full garage and two full fridges. It is located in a great neighborhood and it’s quiet/peaceful. Hosts were easy to work with and super responsive throughout the whole process. We’ll be back!"

"We had a nice time. The home was clean. The water access was nice. The bedroom with the bunk bed did not have lightbulbs in the ceiling fixture and there were not extra bulbs in the utility closet, so we sent our youngest daughter to bed with a cell phone. Additionally, the door in the bedroom stuck since it was hot outside, so we learned quickly not to let her close the door. Overall, the place was lovely. We had a nice time."

"Perfect place for the Labor Day end of Summer weekend! We brought rafts and floated the River a couple of times. Kyakers went fishing and paddling up and down the river. We sang, laughed, watched the Virginia Tech game, and had a great time! Location was pretty much in the center of all our houses! The house had everything we needed. Great pontoon-dock and ease of access to the water."

"The home is a decent distance off the highway but the scenery you'll see while driving to it are gorgeous. On the first day, we saw 3 deer and 2 rabbits! The driveway is very steep and made of gravel, so keep that in mind when choosing what vehicle to bring. If it has been raining, your tires may slip a bit going up.
