Scenic Walker Creek, the largest tributary to the New River in Virginia, is a wide creek that winds through forests, pastures, and mountains on its journey to join the river.

Walker Creek Crossing offers all the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable as well as the enduring charm of a country retreat. Syracuse volleyball parents hosted thanksgiving dinner for the team. The place was large enough for 27 people. The outdoor space and lower level provided enough activity for the girls before and after dinner. We had a great time! Thank you 😊

Rented the house Thanksgiving weekend with family and attended the VA Tech game. The house was perfect our group of ten. Will definitely come back in the fall when it’s warmer to do some kayaking and fishing. Didn’t have time to use the grill on the back deck but set up overlooking the creek is peaceful.

Really beautiful location. Everyone enjoyed the tranquil riverfront setting. Very quiet and secluded. Property owner was extremely accommodating with some special requests. All in all a great place to relax and enjoy life.

We had a very comfortable stay at this property. Water was too low for kayaking but the house was very roomy and comfortable. It is as the pictures depicted and the area is extremely quiet. Even though it ended up being only 3 of us staying the house could easily sleep10 as advertised - we stayed there because of a family reunion at my sisters in Blacksburg which took about 40 minutes to get to her house. Would recommend this property to a big group as it can handle it.Thanks for the comfortable stay!

I loved the fact that we were literally steps away from the creek (which is more like a river). The pictures online do not do this home justice! Kitchen was well equipped, and home was well suited for our needs.

This home was very nice and fully equipped. Came for our daughter's graduation from Tech. Far from Blacksburg (full 40 minutes) but a nice alternative to the hotels. Beds are very comfortable and home is very spacious.

This is a scenic location beside Walker Creek and in the heart of the Virginia mountains. The two floors allowed both families to have abundant space. We appreciated having no carpet; the house was ultra-clean.

There were 10 of us staying here... it was awesome. Great space, comfy sofa, wonderful beds. The kitchen is nicely stocked and has so much space to cook and prep meals. Kids enjoyed the pool table and pinball machine while parents cooked! The grounds were amazing, loved the kayak and the canoe. Definitely want to come back next year, hopefully for a longer weekend.

We were two families with two teenage kids and we all had fun and enjoyed the house. It has everything you need for your stay. It is such a quiet place, away from the traffic and the noise in the big city. We loved the big dining table that seats 8 people. The are plenty of area attractions if you love nature. I would definitely recommend the house for your next stay.

The house is well equipped for just about everything to do inside and out. The weather did not cooperate for us to enjoy the outside amenities except for the front porch as it rained all the days of our stay. It is a very quiet area with very little traffic. We plan on coming again to the area and want to stay here, and hopefully have better weather! We would highly recommend staying here.

The place was perfect for us. Enough space for all 10 of us and for the extended family gathering that was had one evening. We especially enjoyed having the fire ring ready to go and the evening around the fire was perfect. We did leave it ready for the next group. All in all the place met all our needs and more. This location offers a wonderful mountain escape in a clean, fun, and roomy home situated a few steps from your own lazy creek. Amongst other things, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and tubing during the day and pinball, billiards, and stargazing in the evening kept everyone happy. The property owner was very accommodating and quick to respond to any question. We hope to make the trip from Tidewater again soon.

We took our boys (14 and 11) to the Homecoming game at Virginia Tech. We wanted a place that wasn't too far away from Blacksburg (about 40 mins), but offered a peaceful retreat. This house was perfect and very clean! My kids loved the pool table. They also enjoyed watching the cows across the creek. We hiked the Cascades Trail, and the trailhead is a short drive from the house. They want to come to another Virginia Tech game, and asked to stay here again!

We rented the house during for my son’s fall break from VT. The house was clean, lots of sleeping space, nice sized bathrooms and the kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the fire pit and walks in nature. The back deck looks right over the creek which was so relaxing. The house is in a quiet area, very little traffic or noise. Megan was great to work with. We went apple picking and to Mountain Lake, all an easy drive.
