"I chose to stay at Allstar Villa because it was reasonably prices, was in a secure neighborhood, looked nice in the photos, and is close to a beach. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to recommend places to visit in the time I had. The villa is secure. is lovely and well appointed. I was provided with a lovely room and bathroom. "This hotel is in a great location if you want to visit Melkbosstrand, which in itself is a great area to visit in Cape Town. The hotel is modern and about 500m to the beach and restaurants. Things lacking… no wine opener to open a bottel of wine for 3 nights… apparently there is only one person who has one and they were off on the weekend… shower door doesn’t close so bathroom floor is very slippery… chair in room broken… no generator so during load shedding, no lights/tv/etc in rooms.
