"Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast, 24 hours room service. I really enjoyed my stay here. If I’m ever in Cape Town again I will definitely will book here."

"There was a problem with communication about the property. I was never told about the power outage and also the property did not have AC system in all rooms. Some of the doors were bad and were never fixed and this was the same complaint for past reviews. The host did not care too much. We were checked in late and were not even compensated for the check out. They had "I do not care" attitude. It is a beautiful property but a terrible host."

"We had a great stay at Kumbaya, it's a small guesthouse with secure parking close to Bloughberg beach, we walked to the beach each day.
The guest house itself has all you need, the best breakfast, a pool and loungers, a small bar and great views of the sea.
We would certainly recommend this for anyone looking for a relaxing break away from the busy nature of Cape Town."

We had a wonderful stay at Morea House. Across the board, a wonderful experience - to the entire staff from check in, to the bar men, Denzel and Thabo, to the restaurant staff, to the spa staff especially Thandie, the dining staff, to the doormen and all other staff that made our stay the experience it was, THANK YOU. Then add the above to the Morea’s stunning location over looking Camps Bay beach with the mountains in the back ground!! We are looking forward to staying at Morea again when we...

Nice quiet hotel with a view of Table Mountain. The hotel is on it's own pier, so it s close to the action of the waterfront, but is nice and quiet for sleeping.

Fernwood Manor is wonderful. Clean, well decorated, quiet, and well heated/cooled. Staff are professional and helpful. Breakfast is prepared for you. Best of all, it is a short walk from one of the best, if not the best, botanical garden, Kirstenbosch. August and September are months with amazing blooms.

KLM fed me some poisoned breakfast on the 2nd leg of a 3-legged dog, 32 hour journey here, leaving me vomiting from both ends on the flight from AMS to CPT. This gave me the perfect excuse to do what I came here to do - absolutely nothing. I'm going into day 3 of a 4 day stay and have only left the hotel once to get anti-acid from the store down the street. I just wanted to come here to say I went to Africa. I dont want to annoy a lion or try to bury some white guilt in visiting Nelson Mandela's...

Spent three nights at the South Beach hotel. Well-appointed room, stocked with beverages and simple foodstuffs for breakfast (included in the rate). A 2-minute walk to the Camp Bay strip of restaurants and the hop-on/off bus stop, yet very quiet environment. The staff could not have been nicer or more attentive.

Stayed here for two night - room was great, food was amazing, I looked forward to breakfast every morning. Front desk staff and door men in particular so nice (think names were Lauren and John) - will be back:)

stayed here for three nights as part of a bucket list trip to south africa, great base for exploring capetown, up the hill on trendy kloof st. Lovely converted mansion, super comfortable room. Awesome individually cooked breakfasts. Walkable in day time to waterfront area. Several great hip restaurants around nd the corner, in particular Black Sheep cafe where we ate several times. Easy uber pickups. Near the gardens and museums.

This is a phenomenal country house which has just a spectacular view and atmosphere. Their morning buffet was the best in all hotels i have ever had in south Africa. It was convenient to all the vineyards yet secluded enough to enjoy the peace of the country. I only wish we had stayed longer but alas could not. When I go back to stellebosch I will definitely stay here!
