"The positives: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The mattress on my bed was the best I've ever slept on! Room had a microwave, refrigerator and safe, along with an ironing board and iron. The negatives: The furniture in my room was a bit shabby, with scratches and drawers not completely closing. The faucet in my sink was broken and I was unable to get hot, or even warm, water out of it. The handyman tried to fix it. He was able to get lukewarm water coming out of it. I said I could live with lukewarm water from the sink, but after he left, cold water only came out. My room didn't have a coffee maker, but the lobby had hot coffee available for guests."

"I chose this hotel because of it's location (near Powell's Books) and the rate was less than Hotel DeLuxe where I usually stay. It's a short walk from the light rail station and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I especially appreciated the free drink ticket upon checking in. My room was small but had everything I needed. I will definitely stay there again!"
