Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach

"Absolutely loved our stay at the Waldorf. Rooms are so spacious, modern, clean, and lux. Obsessed with the hotel grounds too and access to private beach club, lovely pool with a view. There were a few inconveniences but we loved our stay and the property/hotel staff. A couple issues came up: the valet lost our keys for an hour which freaked us out and the restaurant service was slow and they accidentally left some allergens in dishes that had to be sent back to get fixed. Also had fire alarms go off endlessly at 4 am but other than that we loved it."

"The hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance of all the Laguna Beach has to offer. It’s close to a grocery store and the best breakfast and taco restaurants around. Although the hotel is somewhat dated, the staff are excellent. JUlie, the manager, was very nice and accommodating as were the other staff. The only issue we had was checking in after 8 pm when the front desk is closed however Rafael helped us find our room. Unfortunately the online reservationists are offsite and did not send our after hours check in info. After that Julie took great care and addressed any concerns we had. The pool is awesome! And the vibe and ambience at the hotel was very cool. We enjoyed our stay very much and appreciate the extra efforts provided by the local staff."
