We were at the end of our Panama/Costa Rica trip and had actually just decided to cut it short because I was starting to feel sick. But we had this last hike to try out and I was just hoping both that I would feel well enough and also that our car would be able to make it back on the very steep gravel road back from the parking spot (after almost getting stuck around Monteverde earlier on the trip). As we’ve been getting used to we were first to arrive so we had this awesome place completely to ourselves for a little while in the morning before other tourists started to drop in. It really felt like a fairytale. (Oh, and the car made it back okay!) #nature #costarica #centralamerica #waterfalls

"Filip and Petra were great hosts, flowers, fruit and good wine were waiting for us. I was traveling alone with two 12 year old children, they loved the giant trampoline, being awakened by the toucans, visiting the Coati at noon and falling asleep with the croaking of frogs and dives in the pool of course. "I really liked this place! We had the largest room — very clean, neat, and comfortable. The room has a sliding door that opens to a small private patio and swimming pool, which was a great bonus. The only issue was the shower water temperature — it didn’t stay consistent and would fluctuate between very hot and cold. Other than that, great reception, excellent breakfast, easy parking, and very close to the beach. Would definitely recommend!"
