"The hotel is fantastic, so big and very roomy. Massively dog friendly which was main reason for booking. Pool facilities etc great for rainy days. The one drawback which comes with age, the floors are very creaky, you hear above and next door moving in room. If the creaky floors were dealt with then there is nothing to complain about. But even with that we would still stay there again on next visit to Pitlochry."

The views outside were to die for. I did come during a heat wave and my room did not have a/c. I will say though it added to the pathetic of a very old school hotel which I did think was fun. Overall I will be staying here each time I visit Dundee. "

"Lovely hotel would highly recommend. We had a huge room with two showers as we were given a free upgrade. Beautiful dinne that night in the hotel and terrific breakfast, huge choice of sweet and savoury items. Very friendly staff. Will definitely return "
