"What a fantastic hotel! Upon arrival, they took our bags and rather than queueing they led us to a seat, gave us cold water and a cold compress. We stayed on the 58th floor and we Paid for for the lounge access which I think is well worth it. Rooms were spacious, had a seperate lounge area, huge bathroom with a bath and shower. Balcony with a view of the river. Breakfast was the best I have ever had. Everything you can imagine. Indian, Thai, Italian, fry up, Japanese. Different cuts of bread,cheese, meats, sushi. Different stations where people made fresh eggs, fry ups, papaya salad etc. The lounge itself had a nice viewpoint, you can have free snacks and drinks untill 6pm (beer,wine,spirits,4 cocktails and soft drinks). Service was impeccable. "

"I stay in Shangri La bangkok on 13 May 2024...front office staff helpful ! Breakfast oso not bad...the hotel ferry to ICON Siam good idea but ended up 5.30pm evening too early, last ferry shld be ending 7pm or 7 30pm from ICON Siam much convenient for hotel guest...at least let hotel guest finished their dinner n take last ferry ride 7pm or 7.30pm better...5.30pm ferry ride too early...otherwise hotel is good ! I m from Singapore. "

"We had an AMAZNG TIME. When we arrive the staff welcomed us warmly and knew that we were returning after 20 years! I had a knew accident and they had a doctor come immediately and set me up at a fabulous local hospital where i got A+ treatment -- and wheni returned there were flowers in the room with a Get well card signed by the staff. We had a wonderful time and were treated like family. Thanks so much! We lover the Oriental!"
