"Property was set up nicely and rooms were clean and open. We were greeted late at night by our lovely host who kindly brought us waters and plates so we could eat the dinner we got at the market. He also made us an incredible breakfast when we left early the next day. Very impressed and all around great place and service. "

"I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the past 10 years. Very dirty now and the type of people staying here now are shall we say less than desirable. Feels unsafe. I hate leaving a bad review because I truly love the owners they are supper nice people. But it’s been this way the last 3 times in the past 2 years. Hope to see it get better. "

"I sent money from India for 3 days accommodation. But they refused to recognise it. I had to pay the amount again. Absolute absence of knowledge of English is a drawback. They cannot understand even a word like time. Their office is open only from 9 to 10. There should be a provision to accommodate people on 24X7 basis."

"Interesting stay at Silom area at a refurbished old movie theater, keeping many of the old world charm. Convenient location, loved the short walk to the boat pier and cover many places on boat to save traffic time and taxi cost. Also many old and renowned street food places are right outside the hostel. I also liked my room, which was a hybrid of single room and hostel dorm, with shared bathroom inside a single room, yet separated with privacy. Nice place. I wouldn’t mind staying back here in...

"The facilities are mostly new. Males toilet wouldn’t flush without multiple efforts and adding water from hose which is unpleasant when dealing with a communal toilet that has been vomited in. Unable to get hot water in shower, Luke warm at best. I like a firm bed but these were beyond hard. "

"This was my second stay, so more details on the review I wrote on 9th Apr. The short is that this is a premium hostel. The staff are awesome, the beds and room are super comfortable, the place is very clean, the location is right next to Hua Lamphong MRT and the onsite cafe is fantastic. "I stay in Shangri La bangkok on 13 May 2024...front office staff helpful ! Breakfast oso not bad...the hotel ferry to ICON Siam good idea but ended up 5.30pm evening too early, last ferry shld be ending 7pm or 7 30pm from ICON Siam much convenient for hotel guest...at least let hotel guest finished their dinner n take last ferry ride 7pm or 7.30pm better...5.30pm ferry ride too early...otherwise hotel is good ! I m from Singapore. "
