"House was nice. Had everything you need to make your own meals. A bit too much seaweed but that’s seasonal - and the neighbors don’t clean their beaches so they had lots of garbage on the sand but the lot for this house was garbage free! The downstairs shower works the best. Lovely quiet place. No tourists❤️ I would absolutely stay again!!! 20 min drive to town. Perfect place for me! "

"Over all it was just okay, we went without hot water last day of our stay, had to text in order to communicate with care taker, house was not up to what was presented to us. Have stayed many times in Mahahual and this was the worst experience. "

We had a bumpy start which was resolved only after 21/2 hours on the phone with VRBO. The owner charged us for an extra night.
