"While Roberto was prompt at responding to our needs and requests, the property was quite misrepresented. The 3 reviews on VRBO gave glowing reports of the casa and that was not what we found. It is sorely neglected and needs some love and attention. The living room and kitchen were okay with a couple of nice art pieces but the bathroom is terrible and the bedrooms pretty substandard for what we paid and the reviews that were given to prompt us to book. "Ming was there to welcome us, and introduce her housekeeper Socorro who proved to be a very delightful, accommodating person. Fortunately, our group spoke enough Spanish collectively to get along with Socorro. The breakfasts and a couple of dinners were very well prepared. Overall, we were satisfied with the Holiday House. The location in San Felipe de Agua was further away from the downtown area than we anticipated. It took 20-30 minutes to travel to Zocalo, and taxis cost more like 100 pesos...

"The apartment is spacious with a newer, very nice build-out. Each of the 3 bedrooms were quite comfortable with a balcony off the master (and the living room). The location was ideal for exploring the area and for easy, walkable access to desired restaurants. Gene was very responsive and offered great suggestions. Street noise was a bit of an issue but a worthwhile trade off given the excellent, close-in city location."

"We had a great stay at Jorges place. We stayed there for 4 nights with my family, brother in law and his friend. The house met all the expectations with plenty of room for everyone and basic amenities including coffee which is nice. "The home and location of the property are just beautiful. We opted in for Dońa Gloria and her crew to provide meals for our group during our stay. This made the vacation truly special, as we spoiled by Gloria and Ana. We had a lovely stay and loved getting to know Doña Gloria and her family. The house is a 15 minute of drive out of town. "If you want a quiet place with nice views this is it,a car or taxis a must,15 min hike down to Playa la Mina,unit is in need of some maintenance,worn out fry pans etc.no hot water for kitchen sink,bathroom sink no hot water,toilet flush sticky etc. Basically a small studio type room"

"Great ample compound., very quiet but close to everything. Lush trees, great pool. The homes themselves were not particularly special, but are clean and functional. Very limited kitchen utensils, in case you want to cook there. Check in experience was ok, but the local caretaker hours are limited. Overall a good experience!"
