"Ocotal beach is a short walk away but I highly recommend you rent a vehicle in order to get around for excursions and sightseeing. The drive is not bad and Google maps gets you everywhere. "

"We loved our stay and can’t wait to bring everyone back next year! You don’t even have to leave the condo if you don’t want to. The resort restaurant was nice when we didn’t feel like cooking or going out. The rooms were well kept along with the kitchen. The view can’t be captured perfectly in a picture. You must see it to believe it. The pool was amazing and the beach was perfect. We traveled with our 4 parents who are 65 and our toddler. We could go from the pool to the beach and back. We did adventure out for a hike, tubing, and Diamante adventure park to see some animals. We also were picked up from our beach for a catamaran sunset tour! I highly suggest staying here over an all-inclusive resort. We can’t wait to come back!"

"The staff was really good. Very friendly and professional, spoke excellent English. Our family with mid to late teens felt very safe on the grounds. Lots of really fun amenities. The food was really good and had lots of varieties. "

"We had an amazing stay here with our family of 5 (3 teenagers). The house was well stocked with everything we needed and very clean. Beautiful landscaping around the patio. Just steps away from an amazing little beach. The beach has rocks on the outside and we saw tons of fish snorkeling. The middle of the beach has no rocks and is great for playing in the waves. The office staff had great communication and helped us arrange our rental car and excursions. We are already planning our next trip!"

"The property and villa was beautiful. Quite property. The villa was updated and spacious with beautiful views. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Ourdoor patio and balcony had comfortable furniture to enjoy the scenery/nature. One of our favorite memories was getting madsages on our balcony during sunset. Easy booking through the resort for all activities and massages. The secluded beach has beautiful black sand and we got to see howler monkeys while we were enjoying a day on the beach. "

"We just returned from 8 nights at Villa Allamanda from June 4 - June 12, 2025. The house is as beautiful in person as the gorgeous pictures online. The view is spectacular, and we got up at sunrise every morning to watch for wildlife and listen to the birds and howler monkeys. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained and made us feel like we had our own private resort. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed so we could cook breakfast each morning and the occasional lunch or dinner. Playa Ocotal was the closest beach at only a 5 minute drive down the hill and very easy to get to from the house. The sand is mostly black with some tan mixed in, and the water was crystal clear and the perfect temperature. We snorkeled most days by the rocks on both sides of the beach and saw a huge variety of colorful fish, so bring your gear if you like to snorkel. There are foldable lawn chairs (not reclining), a cooler and a few sand toys at the house. There are 2 blue foam pool floats that you can lay on in the pool but no noodles or inflatable tubes, so you might consider bringing some or buying them nearby in Coco. There are plenty of every type of towel. Each bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, and a hair dryer. Showers are hot with great water pressure. A few of the beds are very firm. The road to the house is very steep, curvy, & narrow, so small 4WD SUV is best to rent. Lissa with Zindis was wonderful and so helpful. Ready to return! Pura Vida! "
