"Excellence Suites was in a great location, close to all forms of public transportation, plenty of shopping and restaurant choices as well. The rooms and facilities were clean. The bedding was comfortable and we did not hear any noise from other rooms. The water pressure was not great depending on the time of day, but this would be the only complaint. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would stay there again. "

Good size room, full bathroom, whimsical birdcage elevator to get upstairs, and a private entrance (green door right in the middle of restaurant outdoor seating) to enter. All for a fair price. My only critique is that the walls are not terribly soundproof- there was a guest next door who woke up each morning hacking up a lung to the point of vomiting, and it was a daily alarm clock. "We had a small apartment for four and liked our stay more than we thought we would. Very good location in a very old hotel tower with just the basics and sparse furnishings but very clean and organized. If you've seen old movies and seen sparse but efficient apartments for rent in Europe where you have to drag your luggage up some marble stairwell, well this is it, at least ours was like that. So you could sleep with the windows open if you wanted. They were kind enough to let us put our bags inside and get into our room earlier since we had a tour scheduled.
