"we had the room all the way to the top- i believe they called it nube. the ceiling was A frame which made it difficult for a male standing up to use the toilet as my husband had to turn his head to avoid touching the ceiling. same thing when i used the bathroom sink- you couldn’t go over the sink or you’d hit the ceiling. i will say, i stayed in 3 resorts in bacalar and they had the best bed and pillows. slept well. i will say it had the best view of the water- no obstruction in the way. had a good breeze going through the patio. on arrival, they greeted us with a drink and appetizer. which was nice."

"Al ser temporada baja el menú del restaurante estaba limitado a pocos platillos, sin embargo , la calidad de los mismo era excelente. Las escaleras para bajas a la laguna estaba en mal estado y daban la apariencia de muy viejas y las tablas de pádel en mal estado y muy pocos! El staff fue muy amable siempre atento a nuestras necesidades"

"I really enjoyed staying in this beautiful place. The staff was amazing and accommodating. Despite of the amazing experience, there are two things that I hope Cristalino can have in mind to further improve it's guests experiences. I was able to hear the movement of furniture, screeching on the floor, people laughing, and moving things from a room next door. I am not sure what they can do other than asking the neighbors to quiet it down but Im wondering if maybe they can improve how the sound travels between the rooms as my downstairs neighbors also struggled with the noise. My sleep was interrupted by that but the staff was able to to minimize the noise by telling their guests to quiet down. Another thing that was unpleasant is how they communicated that they would charge me the pillow cases that my hair dye damaged. Although they were understanding and made an exception in not charging me, sending me a picture of it came through as passive aggressive and that did dampen my mood."

"Great place to stay, staff stay on top of everything. Has 2 pools multiple dining areas outside and 1 indoor an outdoor bar. Food is decent I recommend changing it up and going to the town. They will call a taxi for you. Everyone has their own tub outside their room."
