Firstly, staying midwinter means lots of coats and wet shoes are likely, but there were no coathooks anywhere in the lodge, only a tiny doormat, no shoe rack or tray. "Fantastic stay, room spacious and very clean. Staff friendly. Plenty to do on site. Gym and pool fab. Hotel is a great location. Excellent variety at breakfast. Only downside is the price of the meals which has gone up since my last stay in April. "
