"I thought this hotel was fantastic. The room is lovely and clean and new. Hotel staff were wonderful. My only note is that for a 5 star hotel to have the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel attached to the wall in large bottles isn't good enough. That is more of a 4 star thing. It just seems tacky."

"The hotel it self is great however I didn't think the fact that the hotel bar closed at 5pm was very good for a 5 star hotel. This should be open for guests. Also myself and my friends had to order before 5pm and we sat there for 4 hours and no one cleared our dishes etc. I also think that for a 5 star hotel to have the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel attached to the wall in large bottles isn't good enough. "The staff really looks after you. The restaurant serves a very good English style buffet breakfast and interesting dinner selections, although limited. Our rate included a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board each late afternoon, breakfast and coffees from the barista all day long. If we had a car, parking would have been included. Very nice "

"From the moment we arrived in the loading zone to check in until we left for our flight, the staff went out of their way to be sure we were well taken care of. The room and amenities were lovely and the food at the restaurant was delicious. A wonderful end to our stay in New Zealand! "
