"Great property is very large and our five couple group was spread out. Front desk would not connect us to other rooms unless we knew their room numbers. If we knew that we would have called them directly! "

"A lot of thought went into creating Callahan’s Mountain Lodge. Upon entering the lady at the desk Michelle was so very helpful. As I was struggling with this odd heavy bag she readily offered to help me get everything to my room. There is a real wood burning fireplace (plenty of wood available in the hallway.)The room was very spacious with a king bed, large jacuzzi, table and chairs, coffee area with good sized frig and two chairs with a small table (convenient plug in floor) to use your iPad and enjoy the fireplace and charge your electrical items right there. Huge chest of drawers and large TV rounded out the room. It’s nice to see real wood being used for the furniture and thankfully someone here realized there are other colors in the universe other than dead flat white. Walls were a much more calming sandy color. Two sinks in the bathroom extra large shower stall and a three section mirror. There was even a small towel that said makeup, so you don’t get makeup on your clothes in the morning. A door leads out to a huge deck with rocking chairs to sit and enjoy the breathtaking scene in front of you. Large restaurant for breakfast in the morning. I was sorry I had eaten before check-in as something smelled tasty. Lastly, several people had dogs with them so good pet place too. "

"Neat place. Feels like a boutique hotel. Beautiful grounds. Nice pool and hot tub area surrounded by garden koi pond and flowers. Room was super nice, great bed and delicious homemade breakfast with scones and apple crisp. We enjoyed our stay. Only thing is you have to be ok with the smell of sulfur since water comes from underground springs. "

"This was quite possibly the best hotel I have ever visited. The staff was amazing. The breakfasts were complex, interesting, and absolutely perfect in every way. The rooms included every amenity one could think of and several I could not have thought of. The hotel preserved a great deal of the history of the house, even things like a stereopticon with hundred-year-old pictures of the house. The staff was able to accommodate a celiac visitor who normally cannot eat out anywhere. I expect I will never stay anyplace else in Ashland again!"

"We had a great night's sleep. The hotel is walking distance to great dining in Ashland and to Lithia Park. The room was spacious and included a nice sofa which made the room very cozy."
