"We booked the accommodation for an Australian guest as it was close to Auckland Showgrounds. However upon his arrival at the Motel he was offered a room that was substantially below normal standards and was greeted by a number of cockroaches upon opening the door. Needless to say that alternative accommodation was found elsewhere even though 5 nights had been prepaid which apparently is non-refundable. Certainly wouldn't recommend staying here."

"At check in I was handed the room key and told we had a complimentary upgrade to a new room. Turns out it was just the wheelchair accessible room, presumably because we didnt arrive until 9.00pm and the room I had actually booked had been sold to someone else. Shower was average, no cubicle so water goes everywhere. The TV was a waste of time, probably because it runs off wifi that every man and their dog was hooked up to. Parking was hit and miss. All that for $440 for 2 nights. At least the bed was comfy."

"I will stay here again. On arrival I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The accommodation was amazing, clean and comfortable, it had every amenities that one required. Parking area great, and spacious "

"Unfortunately, the bathtub was not functioning as a hot bath (shower only) apparently due to an old pile. Otherwise, pretty room in a gorgeous area of Auckland. "

"Michael and Linda have created a beautiful, majestic and well appointed property in a prime position. We were delighted at the spacious room and excellent amenities. Gracious hosts. Ample Parking and close to everything we wanted. "
