"We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was as it was an older hotel. The pool was warm, the front desk area was really well decorated, as was the eating area for breakfast. The breakfast had a lot of options and was yummy. The rooms were very clean, the beds were cosy and the bathtub was spotless. Nice quiet relaxing hotel with large rooms."

"We loved being able to walk to the Crabs game. Also went up to McKinleyville and enjoyed the Club swimming pool access that was provided with our stay. "

"It is near ocean and shops and restaurants. It would almost be perfect but the hot water heater broke and I was sandy and needing to take cold showers. The water heater was replaced during my stay, but it was just bad timing for me. The room has good amenities. Staff were nice. Breakfast with waffle maker was great. Expedia double charged me for the visit."

"Phil and Jeannie are SUCH GREAT FOLKS! They have a little slice of Heaven where we we felt privileged to have the opportunity to experience both the private hilltop cottage with terrific private, clear water swimming pond and numerous special, outdoor amenities we thoroughly enjoyed, including the “nap time” outdoor bed, sundeck on the pond, fire pit, charcoal grill and outdoor dining table with a gorgeous view of the scenery. "Loved my stay here. Cute little tiny home, with really cute decor. Perfect spot to do some yoga in the sun room, and drink coffee in the morning. Great launch point for the adventures in the area like the redwood forests or moonstone

"This home has beautiful wood work, hardwood floors, and updated bathrooms. The master bed and pillows were super comfortable! (We only used this room) The home was well stocked with linens and paper products.This home sits among beautiful homes in a charming neighborhood. We felt safe walking to many shops and restaurants within a half mile of this home. It is also easy access to the highway to go to Eureka and the redwoods. We would stay again and highly recommend! "
