"We loved the Crown Hotel in Amersham. The location is great. Service was excellent. The old Tudor style cabin room was unique and fun, good bed, nice bathroom with towel warmer. "

"Old Amersham is very quaint village and buildings refleck this. Lots of nooks & crannies, low ceilings, beams everywhere unlevel floors made this a very memorable stay. Bedroom was a mix of very old like room with 4 posterbed & decor & modern bathroom, only 1 thing maybe I would have preferred was frosed glass on shower cubicle rather than clear as it was an 'open' bathroom. "

"We stayed one night as a couple. The room was a little tired and could do with updating. However, it was clean and the bedding and towels were spotless and fresh. The bathroom was also cleaned to a high standard and a variety of toiletries were supplied. There was plenty of tea and coffee, biscuits etc in the room and these were very welcome. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and our meals were excellent. Breakfast was also to a very high standard. Overall, very good value for money."

"A great little B&B and a fantastic little pub. The room was warm and comfy. The pub was traditional, just as a pub should be. Excellent service too. "

"It’s a pub with rooms at the back, not the biggest but perfectly functional. Very hot in the room, could do with a fan maybe? The lady behind the bar got a little flustered, made a call and got it sorted. Also very European when it came to bar service. Overall will stay again if needed"
