"The local people really made the stay here pleasant. They were welcoming, funny and gave us the lay of the land, giving us tips on what to do in the area and where to go. We enjoyed our time hanging out with the them. Also, the food at the restaurant here was delicious and there was live entertainment our first nights stay. The Fyrish Monument trail was nearby but it was quite a hike to get to no matter what the locals say. The Scottish are fit walkers, it nothing for the to hike the area in which they live but for us visitors this hike is steep and challenging if you are not someone who does this type of hike often. We did it and made it to the top which was rewarding. Overall, we made friends with quite a few people from our stay here and have already been in contact with them recently. We would stay here again just for the hospitality. "

"Lovely B&B in a bar/restaurant. Newly refurbed. The decor in the room was lovely and everything was very clean. Lobby area quite dated but the sea views and lovely breakfast make up for that."

"The property is pretty well located with plenty of parking and amazing views. They have stocked it with most things you are likely to need which was handy including a coffee machine. The only downside for me was the shower as the water pressure was very low and the downstairs bedroom could do with a curtain over the glass door into the conservatory to help keep the light out."

"Without doubt one of the best places we’ve stayed, anyone The apartment is beautifully restored and renovated and it is very clean and equipped for some serious cooking and living. It accommodates four in real comfort. The location rating reflects that it is out of town and so requires a car for any trip or shopping. Could be 5 stars if country quiet is your thing. On a single track road; use What Three Words to find it. Google and Apple Maps won’t get you there.Communication with Roger was excellent as well. Overall very highly recommend. With bells on. "

"Nice clean pub rooms. Small but secure with refurbed bathrooms. Warm and quite comfortable. A pretty standard double bed but still sleep worthy. Staff were very helpful and happy to assist. No lifts as stated but we were able to leave most of our luggage in the car. Dinner is limited as the cook called in sick but there’s a few budget options nearby. Just avoid the kebabs. Great location to visit the Fyrish monument. Value for money this stay. "
