"I was impressed immediately upon entering our room. It was clean, bright and pretty. We had a family room so the girls had their own twin beds in a shared wall area, complete with nice closet and unique architecture. They slept well. "This was an exquisite property with a congenial and charming proprietor. Paolo had seen to every detail to make our stay delightful. We enjoyed our beautifully appointed room and all the extra touches, like home-baked pastry! This accomodation is very walkable to sights, shopping, and restaurants and Paolo gave us excellent directions and recommendations which we enjoyed. We would go back to Juiper Lodge in a heartbeat."

"We had a great stay at this lovely B&B run by a very welcoming couple, Margaret & Sandy. Very spacious room for us which had en-suite facilities, fridge, seating area and tea & coffee facilities too. As for the breakfast…expect a hearty start to the day whether it’s all the trimmings or just porridge. We’d certainly recommend!"

"The hosts are kind and lovely. They made sure I had everything I needed. The place is a beautiful old building, which means there’s no lift — fine for me but not my big suitcase. You can also hear the other guests coming and going. All of that is made up for by the beautiful garden, walk along the beach just beyond the garden, and the lovely people who run the inn."

"Nice B and B in Inverness. Fraser was helpful and professional. Place was great. We traveled without a car and the place is a 15- 20 min walk from city center and train station. It is a pleasant walk across the Ness river. Just be aware of check in and check out times as it is a small B and B and not a hotel. We are giving the stay a five star review and highly recommend it! "This is an unstaffed hotel where you pick up keys from a lock box in the foyer. It is a very large building which obviously was a more palatial location in previous years. However it’s run like an Airbnb so don’t expect too much. Rooms are nice but have paper thin walls so you hear everything in adjacent rooms."
