We had a family room so the girls had their own twin beds in a shared wall area, complete with nice closet and unique architecture. They slept well. "Robert and Ruth(and Milo their dog) are amazing and very nice hosts. We enjoyed the 2 nights at the guest house very much. Robert even offered to drop us off at the bus tour point as we had suitcases and it was a 15 min walk. That was incredibly nice of him. Hotel room had all the amenities you would want."

"This was an exquisite property with a congenial and charming proprietor. Paolo had seen to every detail to make our stay delightful. We enjoyed our beautifully appointed room and all the extra touches, like home-baked pastry! This accomodation is very walkable to sights, shopping, and restaurants and Paolo gave us excellent directions and recommendations which we enjoyed. We would go back to Juiper Lodge in a heartbeat."

"The hosts are kind and lovely. They made sure I had everything I needed. The place is a beautiful old building, which means there’s no lift — fine for me but not my big suitcase. "Booked this stay for its Castle description for a special celebration. Everyone on the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Some may call this place ‘dated’ but imo it was elegant in a hunters lodge/castle-y way. Beautiful bathroom, large room and comfortable bed. Nicely appointed with 2 desks and club chairs and table with view of the grounds. Petted ponies and saw bunnies. Great food. Thank you Chef for the sweet treats! Thank you Joy for the nice room assignment. Thank you to Salil and Alison and to those that we didn’t know your names. What fun!"
