"The apartment was very clean and very comfortable. Great value! We stay here whenever we visit our son and his family in Oakland. Alameda is lovely and has quite a range of excellent restaurants and shops. We love this apartment and the location!"

"It has a beautiful setting right next to the harbor. The property was well-maintained and very clean, though shops are a 30-minute walk away. However, grocery delivery (Walmart) was exceptionally fast. The connecting room door was very thin with a 1/2 inch gap at the bottom; you can hear everything in the next room, which impacts privacy. The 1970s-style lamps and slow, integrated headboard chargers need modern USB/USB-C upgrades. For some odd reason, when I was connected to their WiFi, neither my phone or my laptop could get a signal. Once I disconnect from the WiFi, everything worked just fine. I did mention that to the front desk clerk, but he said his electronics were working okay, so I let it go. The headboard was unanchored and rocked against the wall, requiring a DIY fix with pillows. This hotel is a decent budget-friendly option for the price, just be prepared to deal with a few trivial inconveniences and minor annoyances. 4/24/2026 "
