"The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was at the rear of the hotel and so we had a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. A very delicious breakfast was included in the tariff. We stayed there for four days and included in those four days was an 80th birthday party. The catering for the birthday reflected the very high quality of the service we experienced during our stay. My wife and I would definitely stay again should we visit from Australia."

"We originally had a deluxe double however on check in realised it didn't have a shower, was a bit misleading on the hotel pages as it says 'bath or shower' so could have been a bit clearer. "After reading some of the negative reviews we were very pleasantly surprised. Staff were helpful and attentive and actually went above and beyond. Overall the property is a little dated and and in one of our rooms the tv wasn't working properly and in another the the lightbulbs needed replacing but it's clean, the beds are comfy and it's close to town.
