"Great"

"The room was lovely & comfortable. The Evening meal was delicious. The only thing that let us down was the breakfast. It didn’t seem to be freshly cooked and wasn’t very hot & not very well cooked. A shame. If we stay again we will not pay extra for the breakfast."

"Lovely hotel, really enjoyed our stay"

"Nice apartment (Big), perfect location. Clean and tidy Parking is confusing as theres a space for no.2 but we're told have to move by 9:30?"

"Very comfy and clean, lovely breakfast, great location"

"I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. "Beautiful property out of the bustle of nearby Ambleside or Hawkshead. Lovingly cared for and staffed. Gorgeous views, delicious breakfast and dinner, and a hot shower. Hikes out the door. 5 minute walk to Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top. We hope to return."

"Our room was spacious and it was quiet after dinner hours. The hosts were exceptionally generous and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful room. Great place to stay in the Lake District!"

The hot tub photos seen during booking however, gave us the wrong impression. It’s exclusively for the suite, with no access for other guests. We brought our bathing suits, only for them to spend the entire stay in our suitcase. A massive disappointment. What did I like…the staff!!! Breakfast and location. What didn’t I like? The...

"Great stay, lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough to help! Breakfast was also great with a good selection! Parking onsite which is an added bonus! Would definitely return! "

"Beautifully cared for property with lovely views across the fells. Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, & friendly helpful owner."

"Great location but very expensive for a basic hotel with no breakfast included. Lovely people but overpriced "
