"Absolutely beautiful property in a great location would definitely stay again. Though, we just felt organisation was lacking, informed them of my coeliac disease which they clarified over messages, but then on check in was asked again did we have any food allergies as if nothing had actually been recorded against our booking. And then on the morning of check out we went out for a walk, staff asked us our room number and if they could clean it and we informed them we were checking out that...

"Wow! The hotel is amazing, huge rooms super comfy, very clean, hotel is in immaculate condition, breakfast was also very delicious, cheery on top room with the view to Fuji, would recommend and stay there again!"

"Clean and spacious room. The beds on the floor were not very comfortable, especially the pillows. Staff was very helpful in making arrangements when possible although they did not seem to know much about the Five Lakes area. Overall if you are interested in Hakone/Gora this is a great property. "

"Very nice tatami room, simple with 2 low chairs to sit at. Lovely view of the river. Onsen on the 6 floor was a great experience with the outdoor tubs. Dining times were a little early for us at 5:30 or 6:30, traditional Japanese food beautifully presented. A good value stay"

"Stunning hotel with amazing views across the lake, floor-to-ceiling windows in our room which was fantastically 1970s design in very high quality. The onsen overlooking the lake was also glorious. The breakfast. Buffet was fantastic and the staff were brilliant. Hakone’s sightseeing boat goes from next door and is a must."
