"Not a great experience only stay at this hotel for the ev charger and again it wasn’t working. Had to charge elsewhere which took a lot more time and money to sort. Already frustrated with the charger not working the bathroom door that wouldn’t open or close, the TV on this occasion wouldn’t cast, and the hot and cold water tap for drinks in the corridor wasn’t working, the room also had an odd shell on arrival. Really not a great experience at all. I did mention the above on departure but...
"I beautiful classic luxury hotel, friendly staff, ample on-site underground parking (and EV chargers, although charging not included in price car park). Right near city centre. Awesome breakfast buffet.
A bit expensive, but you get what you pay for."
"The only hotel that charge for parking £13.50 per night. No internet available. Expedia failed to inform of parking charges. Expedia not returned email with a request of a vat receipt. The only time Expedia get in touch is when they want a review."
"The car park is a little walk to reception although there is a drop off area.
Great greeting from the staff who offered to carry bags as there is no lift!"
"The room was a good size and very clean. Staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was tasty. Would definitely recommend starting at this hotel, easy access from the station and town centre."
"Location is fantastic, right in the heart of Bristol. Room could do with some much better lighting, it was quite dingy. The bed was adequate but not super comfortable. There were some renovations happening on the floor above, accompanied by banging during the daytime. Overall not bad, but would expect it to be a little bit better value for money."
"We were here for a party, the room was very nice and the food was very good. We had a drink and met friends in the bar before hand, there was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in there and the staff were helpful and friendly. We had a lovely breakfast and there was plenty of choice. We didn't use the spa but it looked busy and inviting."
"⭐⭐ Disappointing stay — facilities not worth the price
Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my stay. The hotel feels very dated and considering the price, I expected a much better standard of accommodation and facilities. There were also several issues with the room. The ground-floor window would not lock, which was concerning from a security point of view. The shower-to-bath setting didn’t work, and the bathroom extractor fan could not be switched off. It was extremely loud and kept...
