"The staff went above and beyond when I arrived and my friend was having a medical emergency. The manager Caitlyn got a wheelchair, got me situated and got aid for my friend. She checked on me the rest of time I was there and her and her team even sent me chocolate covered strawberries to make me feel better! Amazing management team. The staff is top notch and I will never stay anywhere else after seeing how they handled this medical emergency. "

"We enjoyed the delicious complementary English breakfast every morning in the hotel, It was a perfect mother/daughter stay! I enjoyed having a glass of white wine on the rooftop terrace, overlooking the spires of Charleston. Room was spacious with two queen beds and a large bathroom with two sinks. Turn down service included delicious shortbread cookies at night. "

"We booked this hotel off of its rating and accolades shown in their site. I do feel, however, that it is VERY overpriced. We were disappointed in this upon arriving to Charleston and seeing what other options we had at much better nightly rates (in fact half the cost) based on when we originally booked the room. "Nice, clean, modern. Hotel bar closes pretty early, I think 8:30. The restaurant needs help. The food was good but service was terribly slow and they got our meals wrong because they aren’t staffed enough. I booked a standard room and got accessible but that’s hotels.com’s fault not the hotel itself. "

"We are return guests. We reserved a water view room. We checked in, started to unpack and discovered water pouring out of the ceiling about bath vanity. The A/C handler was located in the ceiling above the bath vanity. We had to change rooms. The room was very nice, but the view was terrible - the backside of the hotel. "

"Lovely room, very comfortable and clean, really nice shower. The AC was loud, as was noise from the road, so request a room further back if you are a light sleeper. The courtyard is lovely and we enjoyed the complimentary cheese and wine in the evening. All the staff we came into contact with were super friendly and helpful. We found the hotel to be in walking distance of everything we wanted to do, with a lot of good places to eat and things to do nearby. Overall I would definitely recommend. "
