"The food selection was amazing and when our A/C didn’t work in one of our rooms, they quickly relocated us to another set of rooms, with a beautiful view and massage chairs! The kids loved it!"

"Beautiful, the in room onsen was amazing and the room was awesome. Great staff. Great location. Wish I could stay for longer- perfect to break up the hustle and bustle of the big cities. Make sure you arrive early- all of the attractions close around 5 pm, which I didn’t realize, but the staff stored my luggage while I went to explore on check out day. The only thing that wasn’t amazing was dinner, but I didn’t go for one of the higher priced wagyu steaks. Otherwise , a perfect stay."

"Our stay at Hakone Kowakien was wonderful. Just to clarify we stay in the Hakone Kowakien Hotel. (Not the Ten-yu) I notice there were mix up of reviews when I was researching the hotel before our trip. The area around the hotel are breathtaking and the grounds beautiful. Nespressomaschine für den morgendlichen Kaffee. Sehr zentral in Motohakone gelegen, 7eleven in unmittelbarer Nähe sowie weitere Bäckereien und Restaurants fußläufig schnell zu erreichen. "We had an amazing stay at this onsen hotel. The traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were delicious and made the experience feel very authentic and immersive. The rooms were beautiful, and having a private onsen in the room was a huge plus. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay.
