"The hotel was clean and the room had what we needed for our one night stay. The staff we met were nice and we were able to leave our cases in the luggage room after checkout. The thing that really let the hotel down was the breakfast. Almost everything had run out and was not being replenished quickly enough. We stood for nearly 15 minutes at the hot buffet counter waiting for all the elements to make a cooked breakfast and bits came out in dribs and drabs. As there was such a shortage, you...

"Helpful staff"

"A perfect place for exploring Plymouth. Very friendly service, clean rooms."

"This is our third stay at this lovely hotel, and once again, it has exceeded our expectations. It never fails to impress, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. The location is fantastic, making it an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, with the added bonus of being within easy walking distance of Padstow for a relaxing evening stroll and a meal. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming and attentive, making you feel well looked after throughout your stay. The rooms are spacious,...

"Very nice Breakfast and good service."

"Spacious room and good breakfast"

"The room was utilitarian, at best, and cold. Staff were unable to get the heat turned on. After 2 days of requests a space heater was finally provided."

"The room was fine (not in main pub building but in separate one) but the shower room was a bit cramped. Noise from the floor above was a problem from about 5.45 am. Early risers who walked about a lot!! Restaurant was very good with good service and good food. The breakfast was excellent. Excellent location above the historic Charlestown harbour. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay."

"The room was clean and spacious the food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great place to chill out but you need to be mobile or have a car. As we holiday in Port Isaac annually we knew the hotel and its location as we had dined there a number of times. We were curious about the accommodation and this was a great place to do nothing and spoil ourselves. We would not hesitate to return."
