Unser Zimmer war recht klein und extrem heiß (Südwestseite bei Außentemperaturen von 35 Grad), da es keine Klimaanlage gibt. Die Fenster lassen sich nur kippen, nicht komplett öffnen. So konnten wir nicht gut schlafen. Wenigstens gab es einen Pool zum Abkühlen. Das Frühstücksangebot war gut, nur der Kaffee war schlecht. Geschmacklos wie braunes Wasser. "Lovely old inn, plenty of character. Rooms clean, nice bed linen and towels. Lovely breakfast and staff very friendly. Air-conditioning would have been appreciated but wasn't expected and really is seldom needed in the UK. Pleasant to sit in the beer garden for drinks and snacks."

"The Malvern is a hotel run around a health club and spa. The best feature is its restaurant which is modern and serves good food. The spa itself has a nice and warm indoor / outdoor pool but the facilities are dated and tired. The rooms are very tired, think 1970’s travelodge, and in desperate need of an upgrade. Staff pleasant."

"One night stay. Very friendly staff. Lovely village location with nice view of the Wye valley hillsides. Very reasonable pub standard evening meal, breakfast was spot on. The room was clean and comfortable with all the bits you would expect, kettle with tea and coffee, a nice bottle of sparkling water, TV, good quality soap and shower gel etc. Great value for a very reasonable price. Add in that they served a well kept pint of Tribute Ale."

"Lovely serene location near the canal and river (might get busy when the weather is good)..Lovely traditional spacious and comfortable rooms, in good clean condition. Communication before arrival excellent. We weren't able to use the spa bath as the plumbing currently needs re-doing to prevent leaks and there is no shelf to put the toiletries in the bathroom.
