"Perfect spot to stay as we dropped our son off at Uni. Helpful, friendly staff and clean rooms"

"The hotel is in an excellent location close to all Newcastle has to offer. Throughout our stay staff were kind, helpful and seemed happy to greet their guests. The room was comfortable and well maintained by cleaning staff with good quality toiletries. Coffee, tea, biscuits and cartons of water were replenished daily. Breakfast was plentiful with a large menu of cooked to order items which were well presented and of good quality. Breakfast staff worked extremley hard replenishing, clearing...

"Overall the hotel room was clean and did the job but the room was very tired. Furniture was damaged and stained. Facilities in the main reception again was basic but provided all we needed. "The room was good for what we wanted. Our only issue was that we were not told at check-in that we had to request our room to be cleaned after our 1st night"

"Excellent attentive staff very clean room no faults"

"Clean rooms, decent gym, and 5 min walk from the train station. Highly recommend."

Parking very handy considering how close one is to the centre of Durham. Excellent choices of breakfasts. Well worth the cost. It was also quiet, considering how near the centre it is and in spite of the storm."

We were made more than aware that we were second class guests in their eyes. I thought we had booked B&B but had inadvertently booked Bed only. We had to pay extra for breakfast. 2 Rooms Also Be Aware They charge £14 per night for parking for anyone not booking through their website and it is free for Raddison guests. We had 2...
