"Very clean and tidy lovely food and very polite and friendly staff"

"Good food and drink at the pub that is separate from the accommodation. Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. Staff shortages meant it was a while before the bed situation was sorted but we were in the bar by then so not really an issue. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her."

"Cute lodge with friendly staff! Short walk to Sherwood Forest."

"A very friendly welcome and staff were always ready to help my partially disabled wife. The meals were excellent and well planned. The hotel was very welcoming and felt homely with such Georgian/ Victorian style ."

"Beautiful place, ideal location, not for the faint hearted if you don’t like hills! Would definitely stay again ☺️"

"It is a charming place, it is dated but that adds to the charm. The hosts are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Very good value for money and a lovely location"

"Gorgeous property in a fabulous little village with a pub serving food and a village store. Super comfy bed with a lovely big room and spotless bathroom. Fantastic breakfast choices with everything locally sourced or homemade ... perfection! Did I mention Tony's delicious lemon drizzle cake?!"

"Fantastic host looked after us incredibly well, the place is right opposite the Lincolnshire county show ground, peaceful and quiet, we had a lovely walk up and down the bridal path. The host is an artist and showed us her works which is very impressive. The site has a new sauna and hot tubs for guests to enjoy. The breakfast was brought to us at the time we chose. Loved it and would book again if we are in the area."

"no one there trip made for nothing "
