"Great stay at a lovely hotel. The breakfast was delicious; there was a good choice of hot breakfasts and the continental selection is excellent. The staff throughout the hotel are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious, clean and well supplied with everything you need. "

Music from bar opposite till gone midnight meant 2 nights little sleep with all noise after traffic etc breakfast nevwr replenished staff at breakfast so rude save your money book somewhere else they think its finny at reception when they ask you how was stay and you explain not good so noisy and they say yes those rooms facing the bar are really noisy well why not tell us on check in ?!?! "

"Room 435 was initially ok until young men on rugby tour were so loud up and down the corridor even knocking on our door at 1am. The pillows were very hard the duvets far too heavy. The breakfast was cold and many things had run out as the restaurant was so busy with the rugby teams.. This is always our go to hotel when visiting Newcastle but I think now is the time to try another "
